Coffee, the almost sacred drink of the Finns (try staying awake, sharp and cheerful 16 hours in the Northern dark winter…), turns into the wonderful and meaningful main ingredient of the cafeteria style collaboration event of Koulutuscafé.
Education Café – The Door to a Profession.
For the student candidates in the event, there is plenty of need to drink coffee and be sharp, as one shops around the Tampere regional education providers’ desks in order to find the door that pleases oneself the most. It is the student market in Finland nowadays to choose oneself the right study path. Our job is to guide and counsel the applicants with our best competence.
Education Cafés are open guidance events for the adult students and students-wanna-be of our region in Tampere. Education Cafés are open to all and there is a possibility to have individual guidance in the events. TAKK is a partner in the large network of organisers, together with TE Services and ELY Centre. TAKK Student Services team members are present – have a cup of coffee with the Student Advisors and Counsellors. Cheers!
Did-you-know: Coffee entered the Kingdom of Sweden-Finland more than 300 years ago. The king Gustaf IV Adolf himself acknowledged the dependence of his subordinates to coffee 200 plus years ago. Finally one hundred plus years ago Finland got it’s own coffee roasting factories. We Finns admit we are addicted to coffee. TAKK staff members drank 134 532 cups of coffee only in 2015. And that is peanuts in coffee nuts.
