Let’ face it, finding a good job is a hard job. Same for the employers, finding the right person to do the job takes time and effort. Match-making demands for concentration, openness and the actual time and the place for the jobs and the employees to meet. Naturally, when the two parties meet, training needs arise, which makes it so practical to have these chances in educational institutions. TAKK organises in cooperation network match-making and recruitment events called Spendid Jobs (Loistoduuniin!) a few times a year – four times in 2016, five times in 2017 – always with a sectoral orientation. The latest, focusing on commerce, ended up to be the most popular ever. Dozen plus employers with TAKK representatives received a big bunch of interested people around the coffee pot to discuss the future careers. Strangely, there is a heavy demand of commercially-oriented employees while the unemployment figures keep rising. Meeting the match “live” makes all the difference.
The next Splendid Jobs event is on the 9th of February in Nirva, with focus on security, well-being, cleaning, household and real estate services. Welcome!
Do-you-remember: How important that first good job of yours was? How were you received? How easy was it to ask for advice and learn the profession? And most important, how did you find the job? Pass the good experiences on and make your company visible and kind when you are an employer. Wishing you a happy day at work.
